... first things first ...

well ... this year has seemed to FLY by ... literally ... seems like just yesterday that it was new years and now it's already OCTOBER! not that i'm complaining ... cuz i absolutely LOVE fall ... especially fall weather! however ... i have yet to even START christmas shopping ... i know i know ... this time last year i was already almost done with all my shopping ... ha! not this year ... that's ok tho ...
as you read in my about me ... i'm a cali-girl ... absolutely love the beach ... love taking pictures and absolutely love love LOVE baking!!  there are a lot of things that i have yet to try ... YEAST scares the bejeezus out of me ... i dunno why ... all i know is that i will probably mess up whatever i'm making with it the first couple times ... haha ... making cupcakes is my most favorite thing to bake ... cookies come next ... not really a fan of making cakes but i have ... NEVER made a pie ... tho i don't really like them ... lol ... haven't really baked anything according to the season ... this is the perfect season to begin!! =)
next thing on the agenda ... i need a new mixer ... and i have my eye set on one ... as any of you can guess ... it's a Kitchenaid =) one preferably this color ...

or lime green ... whichever one i can get my hands on =) lol ... cuz right now ... i'm working with this ...

not that i'm complaining ... cuz this bad boy was given to me by my grandparents and i'm veerrry thankful to them for this cuz i don't believe i would have an arm right now if i didn't have a mixer with all the baking i do ... bwahaha!! this is a 1980 whatcha-ma-call-it model ... hahaha ... not kidding ... i don't know what the model is ... but it works beeerrrrryy good!! haha!! =)
my next couple projects are gonna be soooo fun and i'm very excited about them! i have Gender Announcement Cupcakes coming up next week for one of my good friends at work cuz she's gonna have another baby! =) soooo excited!! next project is the Aliens from Toy Story for a birthday party at the end of the month ... hopefully they'll come out looking like the picture ...

i love Toy Story ... tho it's not my favorite Disney Movie ... my favorite is Aladdin ... the magic and genie and the love ... *sigh* ... <3 it's amazing! haha!!
back on track ... the project i'm most excited about are the ones that i'm gonna be making for Halloween!! =)

i think i'm going to make them orange tho! =) i dunno yet ... we shall see!!! =)
well that's all for now peeps ... gonna get back to watching How to Train Your Dragon ... i LOVE Toothless!!!
